BPOM Checks Foods in Seribu Islands

Jakarta Food and Drug Monitoring Agency (BPOM) checks foods, drinks, and drugs products in Seribu Islands. The effort is held for two days ahead.

Dewi Prawitasari, head of agency, the monitoring is focused for all foods and drinks products at all peddler. The effort will be held in Pramuka Island, Kelapa, Tidung, Pari and Untung Jawa Island.

“Today we took sample from Untung Jawa Island and to be checked in Pramuka Island. The area targets are community health center, food stall, street vendors, school canteen,” she said, Monday (4/11).

Formalined Food Still Found in Central Jakarta

Besides checking the sample, her side also conducts food security socialization for local citizens.
